TLA - Right to Understand: Together We Break Barriers

It was a busy and inspiring #DeafAwarenessWeek for our Hearing Resource Base.

Students enjoyed a fantastic football coaching session delivered by the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust Deaf Plus Sports Co-ordinator, helping to build confidence, teamwork and communication through sport. We’re also proud of our students for raising £284.37 for Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund through their bake sale.

During the week, pupils also visited Vyners School and their Specialist Resource Provision for deaf pupils, taking part in deaf awareness activities and sharing experiences with other deaf students.

It was a wonderful week celebrating inclusion, connection and community.
