Our Chief Executive Officer

ReadyWelcome from Rhodri Bryant, CEO

A very warm welcome to The Arbib Education Trust. I am delighted that you are visiting our website and hope it gives you a real sense of who we are, what we believe in and what makes our community such a special place to learn and work.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple ambition: to provide the very best education for every child and young person in our care. We want our children to feel happy, safe, valued and inspired, with the confidence, skills and opportunities to achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Our vision is captured in six words that mean a great deal to us: “One community. Many ideas. Everyone’s future.”

For us, One community is about belonging. Although each of our schools has its own identity, character and strengths, we are united by a shared commitment to our children, our colleagues and the families we serve. We believe we are stronger together, and that by sharing our knowledge, experiences and ideas, we can create something even better for everyone.

Many ideas reflects our belief in the power of collaboration across our schools, curiosity and continually learning from one another. We encourage our children and colleagues to ask questions, challenge thinking, explore new possibilities and never stop learning. We don't believe that one size fits all, and we value the different perspectives, talents and experiences that everyone brings to our Trust.

And Everyone's future is perhaps the most important part of all. Every decision we make is guided by our responsibility to give our children the very best start in life, while ensuring our colleagues have the support, encouragement and opportunities to thrive.

I have always believed that if we get it right by our staff, we get it right by our children. Our colleagues are our greatest strength, and we want everyone who works with us to feel valued, supported and proud to be part of our community. Investing in professional development, encouraging collaboration and creating an environment where people can grow and flourish are fundamental to how we work.

There is something we often refer to as the 'Arbib Way'. It is not a policy or a set of rules, but a shared attitude that runs through our schools. It is about being welcoming, finding solutions, supporting one another and having the confidence to make things happen. It is a genuine 'can do' approach, driven by people who care deeply about making a difference. Visitors often comment on the positive relationships they see between our children, students and colleagues, and that is something of which I am particularly proud.

We are also fortunate to have some very special points of difference that enrich the education we offer. Curiosity, Exploration and Discovery are at the heart of our unique Museum Learning philosophy and shape our approach to education. By bringing learning to life through objects, experiences and opportunities beyond the classroom, we inspire our children to ask questions, think independently and develop a lifelong love of learning, preparing them for the world ahead.

Another of our greatest strengths is the extraordinary commitment of our Sponsors, whose generosity extends far beyond financial support. Through their time, expertise, connections and resources, they help us open doors and create opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. Their belief in our children, our colleagues and our vision makes a tangible difference to life across the Trust, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they contribute.

What excites me most about The Arbib Education Trust is the collective determination to keep improving. We have high expectations and ambitious aspirations, but we also recognise that great education is built on strong relationships, kindness, trust and a willingness to work together. We celebrate what makes each of our schools unique while embracing the opportunities that come from being part of something bigger.

Above all, we want our children to enjoy coming to school, our colleagues to enjoy coming to work and our families to feel proud to be part of our community.

Whether you are a student, a parent, a carer, a prospective colleague, a partner or simply interested in finding out more, I hope you will feel the warmth, ambition and sense of possibility that make our Trust what it is.

We would be delighted to welcome you to one of our schools and show you the Arbib Way in action.

The Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) encompasses The Langley Academy Secondary, The Langley Academy Primary, and The Langley Heritage Primary.
