On Remembrance Day, our school community came together to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice in conflicts past and present.

It is always a powerful moment when all our schools fall silent to observe the two-minute silence and remember those who gave “their today for our tomorrow.”

At The Langley Academy, we marked this important day with a moving act of remembrance. One of our students laid a wreath in front of a striking exhibition in our atrium, featuring photography by Belgian artist Eric Compernolle.

Across our primaries, Brownies, Cubs and Scouts wore their uniforms with pride and created poppies to display around the school as a symbol of remembrance.

We are deeply proud of our students and staff for showing such respect and gratitude on this poignant day.
