TLA Year 7 Culture Day & Penny Line
Back
Year 7 enthusiastically participated in Culture Day, highlighting the rich diversity of our community. Dressed in traditional attire, students shared stories about their heritage and prepared delicious dishes that everyone enjoyed. The day featured a vibrant parade where students proudly showcased their cultural backgrounds, marching together in unity while celebrating their unique identities. It was a wonderful reminder of the beauty of diversity and the importance of understanding each other.
As part of our fundraising efforts for Save the Children, Year 7 students enthusiastically participated in the Penny Line challenge. Each student collected 1p and 2p coins from family and friends, turning their efforts into a powerful collective impact. The excitement was palpable as students lined up their coins, striving to create the longest penny line possible. This initiative not only encouraged teamwork and creativity but also helped raise awareness about the importance of supporting children in need around the world. The dedication and commitment demonstrated by everyone involved showcased the positive spirit of our school community and the difference we can make when we come together for a worthy cause.
